Gymnasts, Coaches and Judges Unite Grants
The Gymnasts Unite Grant was developed to ease the emotional and financial burden experienced by gymnasts and their families as they battle the disease. Since 2010, we have awarded 27 grants for a total of $49,000. In 2013, we will again offer up to 10 Gymnasts Unite Grants, two Coaches Unite Grants and two Judges Unite Grants. We are grateful for the unwavering and generous support the gymnastics community has shown our organization, and are pleased this grant program allows us to give back to families in need. Students Unite for HER Grants
Every school or student club/organization that participates in our outreach and fundraising initiative and raises a minimum of $1,000 will be eligible. The grant is made available to student families and school or club/organization staff who have an immediate family member diagnosed with breast cancer. The grant amount is determined by the fundraising total of the school, club or organization. Path to Healing Grants
Unite for HER nonprofit organization is pleased to offer the Path to Healing Grant program to women living in the Philadelphia area who have been diagnosed with breast cancer within the last 18 months. Unite for HER is committed to providing wellness resources to women who have breast cancer, helping to improve their health and comfort, and manage unwanted side effects while they undergo surgery and medical treatment.
Our Path to Healing Grant is designed to introduce breast cancer patients to therapies that can help restore their health, while easing the financial burden of paying for those beneficial treatments. In collaboration with area professionals and physicians, we will provide funding for women to receive treatments, enabling them to renew their their body, mind and spirit, which is crucial for becoming fully healed.
